I have been internally processing what it means to be flattered and what it means to feel taken from without permission or payment. This is in reference to people copying my Sampaguita Sun drawing, which is now all over the internet as a symbol for people to tattoo onto their bodies. Some may suggest that this is a form of flattery. I suppose that it's just a way of belittling the emotions of anger and feeling like something is being stolen from you. At this point, there really isn't much I can do. Tattooists still tattoo the design on people without checking first to see if it's copyrighted material. They need to make a dime. I completely understand. The ones I've seen so far are done terribly. Of course they are! They are pulling copies off the internet and not paying for a genuine copy of the art. As for the person who stole the artwork without even paying for it, they are without integrity. As for what I can do about that...I am placing energetic repercussions on the design to whomever puts it on their body. This is a choice that is to serve as a warning to the persons intending to copy the art and putting it on their bodies, including the tattooists who are profiting from the design.

With this month's impending lunar and solar total eclipses, I read that eclipses signify change. Significant change. Viewing my art, from my earliest works to my newest pieces, I can see a transition of darkness and introspection, to a more light and vibrant phase of my life. I have been inspired by the great and truly enchanting New Mexico, with its beautiful landscapes and colors, food and diverse cultures. And so moving forward with the storm of changes, I go gracefully and continue to realize more art that reflects my own inner landscape.

This month of June, I will be participating in the Art Crasher Gallery to be held at the Venice Beach Arts Gallery. Here, I will be presenting my artwork from the Elemental Universe series. The second scheduled art show will be in August, for the benefit of bee conservation, and the theme of the gallery is "Bee-lieve." New artwork will be posted on my www.facebook.com/lynpacificar, and will be part of the series "Observational Nature." I am super excited to have these wonderful opportunities to express myself through my artwork with these two upcoming events and look forward to meeting many other artists and art enthusiasts.

As of recent, I became reiki attuned and have begun infusing my paintings with intentions. Good intentions. The "Deep Sea Within" painting was reiki intended to bring about finding one's path and becoming centered. Another example is the "Rose" painting, intended to bring about love for oneself and to radiate that love energy to others, in order to heal and find forgiveness. With this new found energy, I find that my paintings have gained a whole new dimension, other than the multiple layers of meanings and depth that each one already possesses.

"Coral Dive" is finally finished and ready for the world!

I finally decided to narrow my scope of artwork to nature and elements of nature. I presented my Lady of Light painting, however, it would fall under the "spirit" category. In essence, that may be the only painting within that subject matter unless I find inspiration to do otherwise.

I am really excited to finally present to the world the creation of "Deep Sea Within," a part of the Intueri series of paintings, depicting spiritual inner landscapes of the individual. Intueri is a Latin word meaning "intuition" and is defined as looking beyond what you see. Much of what I am portraying shows oceanic organisms, galactic bodies, and the connectivity of humanity to the Universe through spirit. "Deep Sea Within" is the first of the series to be revealed to all. May it bring enlightenment and draw you in to your own internal spiritual landscape and the discovery of oneself. Blessings!

This video was made with lots of love. It documents my painting of the Lady of Light, starting from when it was a prepped blank wood board, to it's final glazing and photocapture. I hope you enjoy watching this amazing painting.
